First Campout!!

We went camping overnight with some friends, and it turns out that Brighton is a natural born outdoorsman!

He was content the whole time and had a hard time falling asleep only because he wanted to keep taking in all the cool new stuff he was seeing!

He was totally mesmerized by the fire and also enjoyed socializing with everyone (including the dogs that came along).



























When he woke up in the morning, he looked up through the top of our tent and just beamed at the sky and treetops. I know what he means - it was so gorgeous up there and I'm glad that little B enjoys a good camp out!!! I figure they will just become more and more fun for him as he gets older.

Fathers Day 2008.
The Professional Dads League honored its best and brightest at a BBQ by the pool.





Rookie of the Year Brian was celebrated for his outstanding accomplishments.



Nathaniel, three time gold medalist in the Dadathlon - a grueling test of skill and strength - was among the day's honorees.



The all-star gathering of course included Jared - champion in the 100 meter Mad Dad Dash
for the second consecutive year.



Last but certainly not least, crowd favorite Larry medaled in two competitions - Feats of Strength and also the rigorous Grandpa Games.

The kids had tons of fun and my sister's little guy made fast friends w/ Brian's sister's little ones. Before long they were engaged in a full-on "ring around the rosies" session. If you don't know how to play, please see tutorial pics below.

as well as trying to run away together.





I believe they got the idea from Isaac.





In the end, the day was a total success and good times were had by all! Hooray for Dads!!!!!!
