My mom & my bro-in-law have bdays within a couple days of eachother, sooo we celebrated them together by going up to our favorite little picnic spot at Brighton (of course!). I made some freaking awesome shishkebabs and it rained while we ate them.There were so many trees, though, that we really didn't get too wet and it was sooooo pretty. Fall rocks big time!!
I got to put Brighton in his little pack and trek around with him & his cousin Alaric, who is learning to talk - so much fun!!! These boys are cuter than a fuzzy monkey!

e best & got me these SUPER SWEET shoes that allowed me to stand IN THE WATER and still have dry feet. Wow, I feel kinda invincible in them to tell the truth!That was so much fun.
Then, just a short few weeks later, it SNOWED!!Look how CUTE my guys are!!! Talk about snow babes- woo! We're so excited for Brighton to get to check out the snow once it actually sticks & we can do some sledding and snowman building.
Little B has been growing up like crazy!! He can pull himself up to a standing position like nobody's
business and is now eating all kinds of different foods (well, "eating" is a relative term there, but he's working on it!) He is very vocal and loves to show off his incredible, resonant voice. I am sure that all of our neighbors are acutely aware of Brighton's developing vocal chords - oh well, how can they be mad at such a cute little guy? They couldn't, I'm sure! :)
